As Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading, hiring, and training a team of SDRs to exceed individual and team-wide goals. Target clients will consist of small and midsize companies across the US to large, global enterprise brands. To join our highly successful Sales team, ideal candidates should have a strong background in managing winning SDR teams for SaaS solutions and a track record of exceeding quota.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and driving an incredible culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration while passionately developing sales development representatives
  • Hiring, training, managing, and mentoring the team of Sales Development Representatives to ensure individuals are achieving the highest levels of productivity and meeting or exceeding sales pipeline goals
  • Tracking operational performance through qualitative and quantitative means with the goal of driving high performance, accountability, focus, efficiency, and pipeline growth; partner with revenue operations team to shape data gathering and reporting to meet operational needs
  • Providing motivation, coaching, skill development, and product knowledge to the sales development team with the goal of preparing top talent for growth into expanded sales roles
  • Establishing, documenting, and maintaining best practices, tools, and processes for outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
  • Partnering closely with marketing to provide input on marketing programs and allocation of SDR resources, optimizing impact on sales funnel, and collaborating on a variety of pipeline generation activities both via one-off experimentation and at scale
  • Exhibiting commitment, attention to detail, time management, and organization needed to simultaneously manage multiple tasks/deadlines and thrive in a metrics-oriented culture
  • Collaborating with other sales leaders to stay on top of the latest trends
  • Developing incentives, competitions, and other unique programs that keep the culture and environment upbeat, fun, and consistent

Requirements:

  • Have 1-3 years of experience managing a team of SDRs selling a SaaS solution
  • Preferably have past sales experience
  • Possess builder mentality and the dedication to make an immediate impact
  • Provide guidance to the go-to-market organization with a strong level of business acumen
  • Communicate with strong verbal and written skills to deliver high-value messaging for targeted prospecting campaigns and objection handling
  • Are passionate about coaching, mentoring, and growing salespeople and sales leaders
  • Showcase continuous and demonstrable track record of success exceeding monthly objectives and targets
  • Enjoy working with reps to provide call coaching, objection handling, and call reviews to increase effectiveness
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and a commitment to excellence
  • Adapt to changing environments
  • Have proficient Salesforce skills, along with other modern prospecting tools and technologies
  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree
